I made an offer, which she accepted, and the next week, I had a headless body in my possession! She had an even older one, from 2013, and while it didn’t have a 27cm bust it still looked big enough for Anri. The current version has a smaller bust than I wanted, but the previous version (2015-17) had a 27cm bust, more than enough for Anri! I put up a WTB on DoA, and after a while a girl in Germany contacted me. They helped steer me in the right direction, and I fell in love with the April Story Junior body, which has gone through a few different revisions over the years. So I turned to the lovely people on DoA for help. And Nene’s body (by Dikadoll) has apparently been discontinued, but not only that, I wanted one that had an ample bust size. One problem that’s not a common size for BJD bodies. My Sylvie doll is 60cm, so I knew I would probably have to look for a body around 55 or 56cm in height, like the body I have Nene using. 5 all standing together they’re all pretty close in height, so that would make Anri the runt of the bunch, keeping in line with her cute look. In the settei pictured in the B-Club Special, however, she is shown as being much shorter than the others – there is exactly one shot of them in ep. In Moonlight Rambler, you never actually see Anri’s height in comparison with the other Sexaroids she’s always hunched over in pain, so it was hard to judge. This time though, for whatever reason, I researched bodies first, which was actually trickier than you’d think. Normally I do research on the best head for the character, since that’s what everyone is going to be seeing. She wasn’t originally part of the plan, but before I knew it, I was doing research on appropriate bodies, etc. Yeah…this was probably the most logical, and predictable, step after finishing Sylvie.
